Hi, I've got a Synology with VPN server installed. It makes sure the traffic is secure by establishing and handling the SA (Security Association) attribute within an authentication suite – usually IPSec since IKEv2 is basically based on it and built into it.
IKEv2 (Internet Key Exchange version 2) is a VPN encryption protocol that handles request and response actions. But it creates a new routing rule to subnet 192.168.50.0/24 regardless what the server is telling. For example: because Windows is setting up a point-to-point VPN connection when using IKEv2, it processes the DNS server setting request but ignores the split-include settings. Select your VPN profile and click on “Disconnect” button. Go to Synology “Control panel” > “Network” > “Network Interface”. The VPN will connect in a while and show you the Connected status. To establish the VPN connection click on the VPN profile and then on “Connect” button. Go to VPN Server > Privileges and uncheck all user’s access to VPN except the newly created user.

When I use IKEv2 on my Mac directly to connect to Nord VPN, I only see about a 10 percent speed reduction, so I am inclined to agree. Is a Public Server Wizard, you create a service group of all the ports you created for this server and then enter the IP address of the server. It's protocol is L2TP(115) and the port range is 1-65535. Public server asks me to select a server type for which I chose other, then select the VPN L2TP service (I'm not sure if this is correct). Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, tap the General category, and tap VPN near the bottom. If your VPN of choice doesn’t offer an iOS app, you can set up a VPN using iOS’ built-in settings.
